MED Theatre has thriving youth groups that carry out innovative projects focusing on the process from playwriting and devising to performance. 

Children's Drama and Playwriting Clubs:

Bright Lights and Bright Nights

Every Tuesday evening, at the MED Theatre Studio, Moretonhampstead

Bright Lights: 8-10 year olds, 5pm-5.45pm,  

Bright Nights: 10-12 year olds, 5.45pm-6.45pm

These weekly sessions for 8-12 year olds involves alternating weeks of playwriting workshops and physical drama workshops.  The young people have the opportunity to not only explore skills and creative ideas guided by a professional playwright and a professional actor, but to put them into practice. 

Wild Nights Young Company

Every Tuesday evening, 7pm-9pm, Med Theatre Studio, Moretonhampstead.

The young people meet every week to work on new projects of their choosing. Wild Nights Young Company is operated by the 13-19 year olds themselves: from the writing and creation stage all the way through to directing and performing. When they aren't working on a specific project, the sessions involve intensive training on performative and writing skills.
