ROOTS NETWORK DVD
Roots Network DVD was a project to create a documentary out of MED Theatre's Wild Nights Young Company project, 2004-2007. It involved a residential weekend at Pixies Holt Training Centre on Dartmoor, during which the young company took video footage of themselves reflecting on the challenges and benefits of the project, while retracing the steps of two previous expeditions to the same area, which had served as the original inspiration for their plays Roots and Loricum. This film was combined with footage from the outings, workshops, rehearsals and plays that formed the project and edited by the young company, mentored by MED Theatre staff. The DVD is available from MED Theatre at a cost of £6.00.
Roots Network DVD was funded by the Dartmoor Sustainable Development Fund and West Devon Borough Council.
