Abby Stobart has been in the role of Education Officer for MED Theatre since October 2008. Over her first few months she has been working hard to consolidate MED's in-school education programme alongside developing the out-of-school opportunities for young people. 

After gaining a first class honours degree in Drama from the University of Exeter Abby went on to complete an MA in Acting.  She held down an acting career in London for three years which led to opportunities of working with young people on a number of tours in schools as a facilitator, teacher and actor. Realising that this was the more rewarding career path that she wanted to follow, Abby returned to her south west roots and was happy to have the opportunity of leading MED Theatre's education work forward.
