MED
Theatre Education
Our
aim at MED Theatre is to encourage young people to be inspired by
their local surroundings and to go on to create original and exciting
new pieces of work. We are constantly forming new relationships
with schools across the South West, as well as developing out of
school projects with local young people. With a new Education
Officer MED Theatre are currently engaged in an exciting period
of change.
If
you would like to know more, or are interested in booking any education
projects, please contact our Education Officer, using the email
link at the bottom of this page, or call
on 01647 441356.

performed the Dartmoor myth of Elfrida using drama, song and dance
to tell the tragic story to family, friends and fellow school
students. This course was made possible, thanks to the Helen Foundation's
input.

Exe Technology College took part
in the Snow Responses workshop, designed to accompany MED Theatre’s

as a result of these characters meeting. West Exe brought
these performances to MED Theatre's studio on Dartmoor in the
summer term.
- Teignmouth
Community College's
gifted and talented pupils wrote, acted and directed in a superb
series of short plays when they took part in MED Theatre's Play
in a Day workshop.
- There
is a film and
resource book on the transition to 'big school' available to primary
schools: they were created during the project Rumours
that MED Theatre worked on with students from Clyst
