Where are we?

Our aim is to bring the performing arts to the whole of the Dartmoor National Park area, with performances in places as far apart as Tavistock, Okehampton, Dunsford, Postbridge and Ashburton. We build most of our productions in the Moretonhampstead and Manaton area, but these are toured to other villages in order to reach as wide an audience as possible - the size of the venue does not matter, the response of the audience does!

The Audience

It has been a long-term aim of ours to convert a building to become a permanent base for MED Theatre and a Performing Arts Centre for the Dartmoor area. This is a major undertaking, with many obstacles to overcome (namely finding a suitable location!) but which we believe will bring with it many benefits to the development of the arts on Dartmoor, as well as to the local economy.
