Murder and betrayal take centre stage on the moor!

MED Theatre are back in the rehearsal room with our 2020 Community Play, ‘The Murder of Nicholas Radford’.
This play tells the true story of the most notorious private murder in medieval Devon. In the 1450s the Wars of The Roses was beginning in England, with many people finding it difficult to know which side to choose. One of those people, Nicholas Radford, chooses allegiances based on wealth and gold rather than his love for his Godson, Henry Courtenay, and it is this decision that triggers the start of his end…

Performed by community members from across Dartmoor National Park and funded through the National Lottery Community Fund, the play will be performed five times in March 2020, with all shows beginning at 7.30pm.
Tickets cost £8 per adult and £5 for under 16s, but are limited so please book soon!
