What's it about?

Roots was an imaginative new work written by the MED Theatre’s first ever Wild Nights Young Company in 2005. It explored  the concept of the ‘alien’ in both the natural and human world, and featured wolves from Dartmoor’s past, accusations of witchcraft, a detective from the present searching for a myth, beech trees, and a girl growing up into an uncertain future. The characters’ journey, ecological and at the same time psychological, visited tor, forest, cave, house, council chamber and the inner spaces of the imagination.
