SAFEGUARDING AND CHILD PROTECTION STATEMENT

Safeguarding and Child Protection Statement

MED Theatre is fully committed to ensuring that children and vulnerable adults attending our facilities are protected and kept safe from harm. To this end MED Theatre provides a clear, concise child protection and safeguarding policy and distributes it to all staff, project workers, and volunteers, as well as being available on our website.

It aims to ensure that regardless of age, gender, religion or beliefs, ethnicity, disability, sexual orientation or socio-economic background, all children and vulnerable adults:

  1. have a positive and enjoyable experience of drama at MED Theatre in a safe environment
  2. are protected from abuse whilst participating in drama or outside of the activity.

The Lead Designated Safeguarding Officer is:

Abby Stobart, Executive Artistic Director: abbystobart@medtheatre.co.uk

If you have any concerns please contact them on the above email addresses or on 01647 441356.
